Tom attended the Irish Therapy Dogs meeting in Dublin and one of the speakers was Victoria Stilwell , a dog trainer who believes like us in building positive relationships with our dogs based on mutual trust , respect and love . This we have found particularly of use with the Leonberger breed , who have so much love to give\u00a0and are often very sensitive to our feelings and emotions .Tom in his work with autistic children has found that the Leos are incredibly able to &#8216; read &#8216; children and know how to bring them on in their behaviour and speech .
