Our big news this month is that our dear Prada had her puppies on 25th August .12 of them , 6 boys and 6 girls and she managed all herself with ease and competence .All 12 puppies and mum are thriving .We have only one girl puppy seeking her family and forever home .
On the show front , Sully (Ch and Int / Uk Ch Leokings Lionheart ) took GS and Best of breed and then 4th in Group .At Coleraine Ch show , Delboy ( Ch and Int Ch Leokings Premiere Attraction ) took GS and BOB and was also shortlisted in Group .
On the 19th August , the Leonberger Club of Ireland held their annual show with a judge from Finland .Ten Leos were present to be judged , and Delboy took the Champion class and Sully the Open class with Sully going on to take the Best Male and Green star . Congratulations to all .The following day at Clonmel Delboy again took the GS and BOB with the res GS at Limerick Ch show .At Tralee Ch show , Delboy again GS and BOB .
As there are no critiques generally given at Irish Shiws , it was lovely to read one from the UK Working and Pastoral Show by Judge and Breed Specialist Kerry Rushby about Sully , ” This male will go down in History as one of the best we have had in the World , an excellent male and still only young . CC and BOB .”
We are so proud to have bred Sully and also for his training , preparation and conditioning for the showring done by Mandy Moore .
